TWO-DAY USRA AUTHORITY SCHOOL

GO FROM RIDER TO OPERATOR

Originally constructed for the needs of LEO, government officers and security professionals, this technical set of exercises will assist riders in tight turns, slow-speed navigation, sight lines and safety. Become one with your motorcycle and attain the fluidity to harmoniously balance your body, eyes, brain and bike controls like a pro.

OUR PROS WILL TURN YOU INTO ONE

Our pro instructors are here to guide you through every challenge.

PRO RIDING INSTRUCTION

Our professional riding instructors have years of experience and are with you every step of the way. They’ll always perform the initial exercises with you, demonstrating everything from proper seating positions to the best way through a corner.

REACH YOUR OWN LIMITS

We practice challenge by choice, so you’re always at a level of performance that you feel comfortable with. Our instructors provide instant and positive reinforcement while encouraging each rider to have a little fun. Okay, maybe more than a little.

A SALUTE TO NEW SKILL SETS

IN-LINE CONE WEAVE TO OFFSET SLALOM

Image

Your brakes aren’t the only way to keep it slow. We’ll show you how to control speed through the friction zone of the clutch. Get your fingers nice and loose.

SNOWMAN

Image

Three circles shaped like a classic snowman. The rider conducts figure eights as they move through the snowman, with the circles getting smaller along the way. Advancing the vision, body position and clutch control are the main focus of the exercise.

IRON CROSS

Image

The bike goes where you point it, but how to keep it under control in tight, low-speed situations is the focus of this section. Use the clutch to help steady your momentum.

DOUBLE 360

Image

Figure eights can be a fun shape – and in this exercise, riders make tight left and right turns in a continuous “8” pattern to practice low-speed control, balance and smooth clutch control.

GEORGIA THREE

Image

Cones, your greatest frenemy. This exercise helps riders practice quick direction changes and proper motorcycle setup while advancing their vision. Maintain smooth speed using the friction zone to keep it all under control.

NO COUNTERSTEER PRECISION

Image

A slow-speed, tight exercise teaches precise control without leaning using clutch, throttle and body position. It builds balance and the skills needed to maneuver in very tight spaces.
