The BMW U.S. Rider Academy is excited to offer our 2026 On-Road European Tour in Sicily. Discover Sicily beaches, crystal clear bays, national parks, ancient ruins and lively towns. Just like our tours here at home, once you arrive, sit back, relax and enjoy the ride – the BMW U.S. Rider Academy will handle all the details.

STREET SURVIVAL
The first step of your tour begins right at the BMW U.S. Rider Academy. This Two-Day Street Survival training class is included with your trip and will help to prepare you for the challenging conditions ahead. The class is reserved for people taking the trip, giving you the chance to meet new friends beforehand.
WELCOME TO SICILY
Our planned tour includes a total of eight days, and you’ll be riding for six of them. We’ll arrive in Sicily, then have an orientation, bike assignments and dinner.
TIME TO RIDE
We’ll travel through some of the most beautiful locations in Sicily – and act as your hosts along the way. Each day will include up to 181 miles of riding, and the route promises to be challenging (and fun).

What is the total tour distance?
1434 – 1750 km / 891 – 1087 miles
Daily distances: 239 – 291 km / 148 – 181 miles
How demanding is the route?
The entire route is on narrow and demanding roads that are extremely curvy and partly on single lanes. This ride is rated for intermediate to advanced riders.
What kind of motorcycles can I ride on the tour?
Available motorcycles include the’BMW R 1300 GSA (ARH), BMW R 1300 GS (ARH), BMW R 1300 RT, BMW R 1300 R, BMW R 1300 RS, BMW S 1000 XR, BMW F 900 GS, BMW F 900 R, BMW F 900 XR and BMW F 800 GS (LSP).

- Participant is responsible for airfare to and from Italy
- Participant is responsible for travel when attending U.S. Rider Academy Training
- Participant provides all riding pants, riding jacket, full-finger gloves, full-face helmet or full helmet with eye protection and over-the-ankle boots
- Any service not mentioned as included
- All items of a personal nature
What is the cancellation policy?
It is highly recommended that participants obtain a travel cancellation insurance policy.
In the event of cancellation, the following amounts will be withheld from your refund:
- 60 days before the beginning of journey $3,300
- 42 days before the beginning of journey $3,500
- 31 days before the beginning of journey $6,000
- 30 days before the beginning of journey $11,500
In the event that participant cancels after the requisite Two-Day Street Survival training class the amount of $2,800 will be non-refundable
